En enero de 1932, Roberto (1884), Mario (1888) y Eduardo Kennedy (1880) condujeron una sublevación popular en el La Paz, en la provincia de Entre Ríos, que sirvió como modelo al movimiento próximo conducido por Juan Domingo Perón, un movimiento conocido generalmente como Peronismo. Los tres hermanos Kennedy fallaron en su tentativa contra el dictador José Felix Uriburu".
“Other Irish Argentines who played a significant political role were the brothers Kennedy. In January 1932, Roberto (1884-1960), Mario (b. 1888) and Eduardo Kennedy (b. 1880) led a popular uprising in La Paz, Entre Ríos province, which served as a model to the upcoming mass movement led by Juan Domingo Perón (1895-1974), a movement generally known as Peronism. The three brothers Kennedy failed in their attempt against the dictator José Felix Uriburu but were later pardoned”.
